I’m 21 and I’m listening this every night whole night through. It’s just so calming and relaxing, I have a lot of trouble falling asleep and I wake up a lot in the night but with this it has become a lot easier
I can’t sleep without it anymore it really has become routine

I was at the hospital doing an ER clinical for my EMT class, and I heard this song 4 times, and I didn’t know what it meant until the next day when I looked it up, and they play a lullaby for every new baby born, and I kind of wish I new that during that time. But it was a beautiful song.

Taking care of my 7 week granddaughter and found this about 3 weeks ago. Making it part of our bedtime routine. I believe it’s helping me to go to sleep a little easier with a little less anxiety too

We played this song for my nieces when they were born. They are now 4 years old and this song still puts them to sleep. Thank you ?

Our household also plays this song on a speaker to help everyone sleep. Lol it’s crazy but it works some how.

” Distant memories…” — My beautiful caring wife Fiona and I use to play this short composition, while our wonderful son Boris sleep soundly at night from the age of 6 to 12 months or so — after consuming warm milk or crying due to un-pleasant experience from teething — those were magical moments for me and now are ” Distant Memories”.

    ” Brahms Lullaby ”

Lullaby, and good night, in the skies stars are bright
May the moon, silvery beams, bring you with dreams
Close you eyes, now and rest, may these hours be blessed
Till the sky’s bright with dawn, when you wake with a yawn
Lullaby, and good night, you are mother’s delight
I’ll protect you from harm, and you’ll wake in my arms
Sleepyhead, close your eyes, for I’m right beside you
Guardian angels are near, so sleep without fear
Lullaby, and good night, with roses be-dight
Lilies o’er head, lay thee down in thy bed
Lullaby, and good night, you are mother’s delight
I’ll protect you from harm, and you’ll wake in my arms
Lullaby, and sleep tight, my darling sleeping
On sheets white as cream, with the head full of dreams
Sleepyhead, close your eyes, I’m right beside you
Lay thee down now and rest, may you slumber the best
Go to sleep, little one, think of puppies and kittens.
Go to sleep, little one, think of butterflies in spring.
Go to sleep, little one, think of sunny bright mornings.
Hush, darling one, sleep through the night
    Sleep through the night
    Sleep through the night.

My 4 month old has been having some rough nights for a week or so. I put this on tonight and within 5 minutes he’s out cold. Amazing, I’m sure this will be a favourite of mine from now on x

when i was younger i had a little carebears radio in my room that only had lullaby dics, my mom got it for me because i was having trouble sleeping. i don’t remember the songs it played but i remember setting up my little radio and making sure all my stuffed animals were tucked in and in their proper place before climbing into bed. that’s the feeling these kinds of videos invoke, it takes me back to my childhood, back to my carebear radio and plethora of winnie the pooh stuffies. it’s a nice feeling, a softer sort of nostalgia

I’m a breast cancer patient. I discovered this arrangement when I was recovering from double masectomies surgery and spending 16-18 hours per day resting/sleeping. I knew the melody from having played it in band. I started using it as a sleeping aid. Many months later, I still do. It’s effective and comforting. Thank you.
